Psalm 19:8-14

NRSA 8 the precepts of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart; the commandment of the Lord is clear, enlightening the eyes; NIV 8 The precepts of the LORD are right, giving joy to the heart. The commands of the LORD are radiant, giving light to the eyes. NRSA 9 the fear of the Lord is pure, enduring forever; the ordinances of the Lord are true and righteous altogether. NIV 9 The fear of the LORD is pure, enduring forever. The decrees of the LORD are firm, and all of them are righteous. NRSA 10 More to be desired are they than gold, even much fine gold; sweeter also than honey, and drippings of the honeycomb. NIV 10 They are more precious than gold, than much pure gold; they are sweeter than honey, than honey from the honeycomb. NRSA 11 Moreover by them is your servant warned; in keeping them there is great reward. NIV 11 By them your servant is warned; in keeping them there is great reward. NRSA 12 But who can detect their errors? Clear me from hidden faults. NIV 12 But who can discern their own errors? Forgive my hidden faults. NRSA 13 Keep back your servant also from the insolent; do not let them have dominion over me. Then I shall be blameless, and innocent of great transgression. NIV 13 Keep your servant also from willful sins; may they not rule over me. Then I will be blameless, innocent of great transgression. NRSA 14 Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable to you, O Lord, my rock and my redeemer. NIV 14 May these words of my mouth and this meditation of my heart be pleasing in your sight, LORD, my Rock and my Redeemer.
