Psalm 34:1-8

CEB 1 I will bless the LORD at all times; his praise will always be in my mouth. NRS 1 I will bless the Lord at all times; his praise shall continually be in my mouth. CEB 2 I praise the LORD— let the suffering listen and rejoice. NRS 2 My soul makes its boast in the Lord; let the humble hear and be glad. CEB 3 Magnify the LORD with me! Together let us lift his name up high! NRS 3 O magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt his name together. CEB 4 I sought the LORD and he answered me. He delivered me from all my fears. NRS 4 I sought the Lord, and he answered me, and delivered me from all my fears. CEB 5 Those who look to God will shine; their faces are never ashamed. NRS 5 Look to him, and be radiant; so your faces shall never be ashamed. CEB 6 This suffering person cried out: the LORD listened and saved him from every trouble. NRS 6 This poor soul cried, and was heard by the Lord, and was saved from every trouble. CEB 7 On every side, the LORD's messenger protects those who honor God; and he delivers them. NRS 7 The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear him, and delivers them. CEB 8 Taste and see how good the LORD is! The one who takes refuge in him is truly happy! NRS 8 O taste and see that the Lord is good; happy are those who take refuge in him.

CEB 19 The righteous have many problems, but the LORD delivers them from every one. NRS 19 Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord rescues them from them all. CEB 20 He protects all their bones; not even one will be broken. NRS 20 He keeps all their bones; not one of them will be broken. CEB 21 But just one problem will kill the wicked, and those who hate the righteous will be held responsible. NRS 21 Evil brings death to the wicked, and those who hate the righteous will be condemned. CEB 22 The LORD saves his servants' lives; all those who take refuge in him won't be held responsible for anything. NRS 22 The Lord redeems the life of his servants; none of those who take refuge in him will be condemned.
