Psalm 63:1-6

KJV 1 O God, thou art my God; early will I seek thee: my soul thirsteth for thee, my flesh longeth for thee in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is; NIV 1 You, God, are my God, earnestly I seek you; I thirst for you, my whole being longs for you, in a dry and parched land where there is no water. KJV 2 To see thy power and thy glory, so as I have seen thee in the sanctuary. NIV 2 I have seen you in the sanctuary and beheld your power and your glory. KJV 3 Because thy lovingkindness is better than life, my lips shall praise thee. NIV 3 Because your love is better than life, my lips will glorify you. KJV 4 Thus will I bless thee while I live: I will lift up my hands in thy name. NIV 4 I will praise you as long as I live, and in your name I will lift up my hands. KJV 5 My soul shall be satisfied as with marrow and fatness; and my mouth shall praise thee with joyful lips: NIV 5 I will be fully satisfied as with the richest of foods; with singing lips my mouth will praise you. KJV 6 When I remember thee upon my bed, and meditate on thee in the night watches. NIV 6 On my bed I remember you; I think of you through the watches of the night.
