1 ( Yà sà de shī ) shén shízaì ēn dāi Yǐsèliè nàxiē qīng xīn de rén .

Surely God is good to Israel, to those who are pure in heart.
2 Zhìyú wǒ , wǒde jiǎo jīhū shī Shǎn . wǒde jiǎo xiǎnxiē huá diē .

But as for me, my feet had almost slipped; I had nearly lost my foothold.
3 Wǒ jiàn è rén hé kuángào rén xiǎng píngān , jiù xīnhuái bù píng .

For I envied the arrogant when I saw the prosperity of the wicked.
4 Tāmen sǐ de shíhou , méiyǒu téngtòng . tāmende lì qì , què yĕ zhuàng shí .

They have no struggles; their bodies are healthy and strong.
5 Tāmen bù xiàng biérén shòu kǔ , yĕ bù xiàng biérén zāo zāi .

They are free from common human burdens; they are not plagued by human ills.
6 Suǒyǐ jiāoào rú liànzi daì zaì tāmende xiàng shang . qiángbào xiàng yīshang zhē zhù tāmende shēntǐ .

Therefore pride is their necklace; they clothe themselves with violence.
7 Tāmende yǎnjing , yīn tǐ pàng ér tū chū . tāmen suǒ dé de , guòyú xīnli suǒ xiǎng de .

From their callous hearts comes iniquity ; their evil imaginations have no limits.
8 Tāmen jī xiào rén , píng è yì shuō qīyē rén de huà . tāmen shuōhuà zì gāo .

They scoff, and speak with malice; with arrogance they threaten oppression.
9 Tāmende kǒu xièdú shàngtiān , tāmende shé huǐbàng quán dì .

Their mouths lay claim to heaven, and their tongues take possession of the earth.
10 Suǒyǐ shén de mín guī dào zhèlǐ , hē jǐn le mǎn bēi de kǔ shuǐ .

Therefore their people turn to them and drink up waters in abundance.
11 Tāmen shuō , shén zĕn néng xiǎodé . zhìgāo zhĕ qǐ yǒu zhīshi ne .

They say, “How would God know? Does the Most High know anything?”
12 Kàn nǎ , zhè jiù shì è rén . tāmen jì shì cháng xiǎng ānyì , cáibǎo pián jiā zēng .

This is what the wicked are like— always free of care, they go on amassing wealth.
13 Wǒ shízaì túrán jiéjìng le wǒde xīn , túrán xǐ shǒu biǎomíng wúgū .

Surely in vain I have kept my heart pure and have washed my hands in innocence.
14 Yīnwei wǒ zhōng rì zāo zāinàn , mĕi zǎochen shòu chéng zhì .

All day long I have been afflicted, and every morning brings new punishments.
15 Wǒ ruò shuō , wǒ yào zhèyàng jiǎng , zhè jiù shì yǐ jiān zhà dāi nǐde zhòng zǐ .

If I had spoken out like that, I would have betrayed your children.
16 Wǒ sī suǒ zĕn néng míngbai zhè shì , yǎn kàn shí xì wèi nán .

When I tried to understand all this, it troubled me deeply
17 Dĕng wǒ jìn le shén de shèng suǒ , sīxiǎng tāmende jiéjú .

till I entered the sanctuary of God; then I understood their final destiny.
18 Nǐ shízaì bǎ tāmen ān zaì huá dì , shǐ tāmen diào zaì chénlún zhī zhōng .

Surely you place them on slippery ground; you cast them down to ruin.
19 Tāmen zhuǎn yǎn zhī jiān , chéng le hédĕng de huāngliáng . tāmen beì jīngkǒng miè jìn le .

How suddenly are they destroyed, completely swept away by terrors!
20 Rén shuì xǐng le zĕnyàng kàn mèng , Zhǔ a , nǐ xǐng le , yĕ bì zhàoyàng qīng kàn tāmende yǐng xiàng .

They are like a dream when one awakes; when you arise, Lord, you will despise them as fantasies.
21 Yīn ér wǒ xīnli fāsuān , feì fǔ beì cī .

When my heart was grieved and my spirit embittered,
22 Wǒ zhèyàng yúmeì wúzhī , zaì nǐ miànqián rú chùleì yìbān .

I was senseless and ignorant; I was a brute beast before you.
23 Ránér wǒ cháng yǔ nǐ tóng zaì . nǐ chān zhe wǒde yòushǒu .

Yet I am always with you; you hold me by my right hand.
24 Nǐ yào yǐ nǐde xùn yán yǐndǎo wǒ , yǐhòu bì jiē wǒ dào róngyào lǐ .

You guide me with your counsel, and afterward you will take me into glory.
25 Chú nǐ yǐwaì , zaì tiān shang wǒ yǒu shuí ne . chú nǐ yǐwaì , zaì dì shang wǒ yĕ méiyǒu suǒ aì mù de .

Whom have I in heaven but you? And earth has nothing I desire besides you.
26 Wǒde ròutǐ , hé wǒde xīncháng shuāi cán . dàn shén shì wǒ xīnli de lìliang , yòu shì wǒde fú fēn , zhídào yǒngyuǎn .

My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.
27 Yuǎn lí nǐde , bìyào sǐwáng . fán lí qì nǐ xíng xié yín de , nǐ dōu mièjué le .

Those who are far from you will perish; you destroy all who are unfaithful to you.
28 Dàn wǒ qīnjìn shén shì yǔ wǒ yǒu yì . wǒ yǐ zhǔ Yēhéhuá wèi wǒde bìnàn suǒ , hǎo jiào wǒ shùshuō nǐ yīqiè de zuòwéi .

But as for me, it is good to be near God. I have made the Sovereign LORD my refuge; I will tell of all your deeds.
