Psalm 99

JUB 1 The LORD reigns; the peoples shall tremble; he who sits above the cherubim <em>reigns</em>; the earth shall be moved. NIV 1 The LORD reigns, let the nations tremble; he sits enthroned between the cherubim, let the earth shake. JUB 2 The LORD <em>is</em> great in Zion, and he <em>is</em> high above all the peoples. NIV 2 Great is the LORD in Zion; he is exalted over all the nations. JUB 3 Let them praise thy great and terrible name, <em>for</em> it <em>is</em> holy. NIV 3 Let them praise your great and awesome name— he is holy. JUB 4 The king’s strength <em>is</em> that he loves judgment; thou dost establish equity; thou dost execute judgment and righteousness in Jacob. NIV 4 The King is mighty, he loves justice— you have established equity; in Jacob you have done what is just and right. JUB 5 Exalt ye the LORD our God and worship at the footstool of his feet, <em>which is</em> holy. NIV 5 Exalt the LORD our God and worship at his footstool; he is holy. JUB 6 Moses and Aaron <em>are</em> among his priests and Samuel among those that call upon his name; they called upon the LORD, and he answered them. JUB 7 He spoke unto them in the pillar of fire; they kept his testimonies and the order <em>that</em> he gave them. NIV 7 He spoke to them from the pillar of cloud; they kept his statutes and the decrees he gave them. JUB 8 Thou didst answer them, O LORD our God; thou wast a God that didst forgive them, and <em>an</em> avenger for their works. NIV 8 LORD our God, you answered them; you were to Israel a forgiving God, though you punished their misdeeds. JUB 9 Exalt the LORD our God and worship at the mountain of his holiness, for the LORD our God is holy. NIV 9 Exalt the LORD our God and worship at his holy mountain, for the LORD our God is holy.
