New International Version NIV
Third Millennium Bible TMB
1 Those who trust in the LORD are like Mount Zion, which cannot be shaken but endures forever.
1
<<A song of degrees.>> They that trust in the LORD shall be as Mount Zion, which cannot be removed, but abideth for ever.
2 As the mountains surround Jerusalem, so the LORD surrounds his people both now and forevermore.
2
As the mountains are round about Jerusalem, so the LORD is round about His people from henceforth, even for ever.
3 The scepter of the wicked will not remain over the land allotted to the righteous, for then the righteous might use their hands to do evil.
3
For the rod of the wicked shall not rest upon the allotment of the righteous, lest the righteous put forth their hands to do iniquity.
4 LORD, do good to those who are good, to those who are upright in heart.
4
Do good, O LORD, unto those that are good and to them that are upright in their hearts.
5 But those who turn to crooked ways the LORD will banish with the evildoers. Peace be on Israel.
5
As for such as turn aside unto their crooked ways, the LORD shall lead them away with the workers of iniquity; but peace shall be upon Israel.
