1 Mighty warrior, why do you brag about the evil you do? God's love will continue forever.

Why do you boast of evil, O mighty man? The steadfast love of God endures all the day.
2 You think up evil plans. Your tongue is like a sharp razor, making up lies.

Your tongue plots destruction, like a sharp razor, you worker of deceit.
3 You love wrong more than right and lies more than truth.Selah

You love evil more than good, and lying more than speaking what is right. Selah
4 You love words that bite and tongues that lie.

You love all words that devour, O deceitful tongue.
5 But God will ruin you forever. He will grab you and throw you out of your tent; he will tear you away from the land of the living.Selah

But God will break you down forever; he will snatch and tear you from your tent; he will uproot you from the land of the living. Selah
6 Those who do right will see this and fear God. They will laugh at you and say,

The righteous shall see and fear, and shall laugh at him, saying,
7 "Look what happened to the man who did not depend on God but depended on his money. He grew strong by his evil plans."

“See the man who would not make God his refuge, but trusted in the abundance of his riches and sought refuge in his own destruction! ”
8 But I am like an olive tree growing in God's Temple. forever and ever.

But I am like a green olive tree in the house of God. I trust in the steadfast love of God forever and ever.
9 God, I will thank you forever for what you have done. With those who worship you, I will trust you because you are good.

I will thank you forever, because you have done it. I will wait for your name, for it is good, in the presence of the godly.
