Psalm 67

RHE

NLT

1 (66-1) <Unto the end, in hymns, a psalm of a canticle for David.> (66-2) May God have mercy on us, and bless us: may he cause the light of his countenance to shine upon us, and may he have mercy on us.
1 May God be merciful and bless us. May his face smile with favor on us. Interlude
2 (66-3) That we may know thy way upon earth: thy salvation in all nations.
2 May your ways be known throughout the earth, your saving power among people everywhere.
3 (66-4) Let people confess to thee, O God: let all people give praise to thee.
3 May the nations praise you, O God. Yes, may all the nations praise you.
4 (66-5) Let the nations be glad and rejoice: for thou judgest the people with justice, and directest the nations upon earth.
4 Let the whole world sing for joy, because you govern the nations with justice and guide the people of the whole world. Interlude
5 (66-6) Let the people, O God, confess to thee: let all the people give praise to thee:
5 May the nations praise you, O God. Yes, may all the nations praise you.
6 (66-7) The earth hath yielded her fruit. May God, our God bless us,
6 Then the earth will yield its harvests, and God, our God, will richly bless us.
7 (66-8) May God bless us: and all the ends of the earth fear him.
7 Yes, God will bless us, and people all over the world will fear him.
