1 (92-1) The Lord hath reigned, he is clothed with beauty: the Lord is clothed with strength, and hath girded himself. For he hath established the world which shall not be moved.

The LORD is king! He is robed in majesty. Indeed, the LORD is robed in majesty and armed with strength. The world stands firm and cannot be shaken.
2 (92-2) My throne is prepared from of old: thou art from everlasting.

Your throne, O LORD, has stood from time immemorial. You yourself are from the everlasting past.
3 (92-3) The floods have lifted up, O Lord: the floods have lifted up their voice. The floods have lifted up their waves,

The floods have risen up, O LORD . The floods have roared like thunder; the floods have lifted their pounding waves.
4 (92-4) With the noise of many waters. Wonderful are the surges of the sea: wonderful is the Lord on high.

But mightier than the violent raging of the seas, mightier than the breakers on the shore— the LORD above is mightier than these!
5 (92-5) Thy testimonies are become exceedingly credible: holiness becometh thy house, O Lord, unto length of days.

Your royal laws cannot be changed. Your reign, O LORD, is holy forever and ever.
