1 psalmus David Dominus regnavit irascantur populi qui sedet super cherubin moveatur terra

{A Psalm.} Sing ye unto Jehovah a new song: for he hath done wondrous things; his right hand and his holy arm hath wrought salvation for him.
2 Dominus in Sion magnus et excelsus est super omnes populos

Jehovah hath made known his salvation: his righteousness hath he openly shewed in the sight of the nations.
3 confiteantur nomini tuo magno quoniam terribile et sanctum est

He hath remembered his loving-kindness and his faithfulness toward the house of Israel: all the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our God.
4 et honor regis iudicium diligit tu parasti directiones iudicium et iustitiam in Iacob tu fecisti

Shout aloud unto Jehovah, all the earth; break forth and shout for joy, and sing psalms.
5 exaltate Dominum Deum nostrum et adorate scabillum pedum eius quoniam sanctum est

Sing psalms unto Jehovah with the harp: with the harp, and the voice of a song;
6 Moses et Aaron in sacerdotibus eius et Samuhel inter eos qui invocant nomen eius invocabant Dominum et ipse exaudiebat illos

With trumpets and sound of cornet, make a joyful noise before the King, Jehovah.
7 in columna nubis loquebatur ad eos custodiebant testimonia eius et praeceptum quod dedit illis

Let the sea roar, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein;
8 Domine Deus noster tu exaudiebas illos Deus tu propitius fuisti eis et ulciscens in omnes adinventiones eorum

Let the floods clap [their] hands; let the mountains sing for joy together,
9 exaltate Dominum Deum nostrum et adorate in monte sancto eius quoniam sanctus Dominus Deus noster

Before Jehovah, for he cometh to judge the earth: he will judge the world with righteousness, and the peoples with equity.
