Romans 12:4-18

NRSA 4 For as in one body we have many members, and not all the members have the same function, NIV 4 For just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members do not all have the same function, NRSA 5 so we, who are many, are one body in Christ, and individually we are members one of another. NIV 5 so in Christ we, though many, form one body, and each member belongs to all the others. NRSA 6 We have gifts that differ according to the grace given to us: prophecy, in proportion to faith; NIV 6 We have different gifts, according to the grace given to each of us. If your gift is prophesying, then prophesy in accordance with your faith; NRSA 7 ministry, in ministering; the teacher, in teaching; NIV 7 if it is serving, then serve; if it is teaching, then teach; NRSA 8 the exhorter, in exhortation; the giver, in generosity; the leader, in diligence; the compassionate, in cheerfulness. NIV 8 if it is to encourage, then give encouragement; if it is giving, then give generously; if it is to lead, do it diligently; if it is to show mercy, do it cheerfully. NRSA 9 Let love be genuine; hate what is evil, hold fast to what is good; NIV 9 Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good. NRSA 10 love one another with mutual affection; outdo one another in showing honor. NIV 10 Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves. NRSA 11 Do not lag in zeal, be ardent in spirit, serve the Lord. NIV 11 Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord. NRSA 12 Rejoice in hope, be patient in suffering, persevere in prayer. NIV 12 Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer. NRSA 13 Contribute to the needs of the saints; extend hospitality to strangers. NIV 13 Share with the Lord’s people who are in need. Practice hospitality. NRSA 14 Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse them. NIV 14 Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse. NRSA 15 Rejoice with those who rejoice, weep with those who weep. NIV 15 Rejoice with those who rejoice; mourn with those who mourn. NRSA 16 Live in harmony with one another; do not be haughty, but associate with the lowly; do not claim to be wiser than you are. NRSA 17 Do not repay anyone evil for evil, but take thought for what is noble in the sight of all. NIV 17 Do not repay anyone evil for evil. Be careful to do what is right in the eyes of everyone. NRSA 18 If it is possible, so far as it depends on you, live peaceably with all. NIV 18 If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone.
