1 Bem-aventurado o homem que não anda segundo o conselho dos ímpios, nem se detém no caminho dos pecadores, nem se assenta na roda dos escarnecedores;

How blessed are those who reject the advice of the wicked, don't stand on the way of sinners or sit where scoffers sit!
2 antes tem seu prazer na lei do Senhor, e na sua lei medita de dia e noite.

Their delight is in ADONAI's Torah; on his Torah they meditate day and night.
3 Pois será como a árvore plantada junto �s correntes de águas, a qual dá o seu fruto na estação própria, e cuja folha não cai; e tudo quanto fizer prosperará.

They are like trees planted by streams -they bear their fruit in season, their leaves never wither, everything they do succeeds.
4 Não são assim os ímpios, mas são semelhantes � moinha que o vento espalha.

Not so the wicked, who are like chaff driven by the wind.
5 Pelo que os ímpios não subsistirão no juízo, nem os pecadores na congregação dos justos;

For this reason the wicked won't stand up to the judgment, nor will sinners at the gathering of the righteous.
6 porque o Senhor conhece o caminho dos justos, mas o caminho dos ímpios conduz � ruína.

For ADONAI watches over the way of the righteous, but the way of the wicked is doomed.
