1 ALABARÉMOSTE, oh Dios, alabaremos; Que cercano está tu nombre: Cuenten tus maravillas.

We give thanks to you, O God; we give thanks. You are present, and your miracles confirm that.
2 Cuando yo tuviere tiempo, Yo juzgaré rectamente.

When I choose the right time, I will judge fairly.
3 Arruinábase la tierra y sus moradores: Yo sostengo sus columnas. (Selah.)

When the earth and everyone who lives on it begin to melt, I will make its foundations as solid as rock. Selah
4 Dije á los insensatos: No os infatuéis; Y á los impíos: No levantéis el cuerno:

I said to those who brag, "Don't brag," and to wicked people, "Don't raise your weapons.
5 No levantéis en alto vuestro cuerno; No habléis con cerviz erguida.

Don't raise your weapons so proudly or speak so defiantly."
6 Porque ni de oriente, ni de occidente, Ni del desierto viene el ensalzamiento.

The [authority] to reward someone does not [come] from the east, from the west, or [even] from the wilderness.
7 Mas Dios es el juez: A éste abate, y á aquel ensalza.

God alone is the judge. He punishes one person and rewards another.
8 Porque el cáliz está en la mano de Jehová, y el vino es tinto, Lleno de mistura; y él derrama del mismo: Ciertamente sus heces chuparán y beberán todos los impíos de la tierra.

A cup is in the LORD's hand. (Its foaming wine is thoroughly mixed with spices.) He will empty it, [and] all the wicked people on earth will have to drink every last drop.
9 Mas yo anunciaré siempre, Cantaré alabanzas al Dios de Jacob.

But I will speak [about your miracles] forever. I will make music to praise the God of Jacob.
10 Y quebraré todos los cuernos de los pecadores: Los cuernos del justo serán ensalzados.

I will destroy all the weapons of wicked people, but the weapons of righteous people will be raised proudly.
