Titus 3:6-15

GW 6 God poured a generous amount of the Spirit on us through Jesus Christ our Savior. NIV 6 whom he poured out on us generously through Jesus Christ our Savior, GW 7 As a result, God in his kindness has given us his approval and we have become heirs who have the confidence that we have everlasting life. NIV 7 so that, having been justified by his grace, we might become heirs having the hope of eternal life. GW 8 This is a statement that can be trusted. I want you to insist on these things so that those who believe in God can concentrate on setting an example by doing good things. This is good and helps other people. NIV 8 This is a trustworthy saying. And I want you to stress these things, so that those who have trusted in God may be careful to devote themselves to doing what is good. These things are excellent and profitable for everyone. GW 9 Avoid foolish controversies, arguments about genealogies, quarrels, and fights about Moses' Teachings. This is useless and worthless. NIV 9 But avoid foolish controversies and genealogies and arguments and quarrels about the law, because these are unprofitable and useless. GW 10 Have nothing to do with people who continue to teach false doctrine after you have warned them once or twice. NIV 10 Warn a divisive person once, and then warn them a second time. After that, have nothing to do with them. GW 11 You know that people like this are corrupt. They are sinners condemned by their own actions. NIV 11 You may be sure that such people are warped and sinful; they are self-condemned. GW 12 When I send Artemas or Tychicus to you, hurry to visit me in the city of Nicopolis. I have decided to spend the winter there. NIV 12 As soon as I send Artemas or Tychicus to you, do your best to come to me at Nicopolis, because I have decided to winter there. GW 13 Give Zenas the lawyer and Apollos your best support for their trip so that they will have everything they need. NIV 13 Do everything you can to help Zenas the lawyer and Apollos on their way and see that they have everything they need. GW 14 Our people should also learn how to set an example by doing good things when urgent needs arise so that they can live productive lives. NIV 14 Our people must learn to devote themselves to doing what is good, in order to provide for urgent needs and not live unproductive lives. GW 15 Everyone with me sends you greetings. Greet our faithful friends. [God's] good will be with all of you. NIV 15 Everyone with me sends you greetings. Greet those who love us in the faith. Grace be with you all.
