31 “It has been said, ‘Anyone who divorces his wife must give her a certificate of divorce.’[a]
32 But I tell you that anyone who divorces his wife, except for sexual immorality, makes her the victim of adultery, and anyone who marries a divorced woman commits adultery.

Marriage is sacred and something God created with a purpose in mind.  He put it together and wants it to stay together for a lifetime.  It’s not hard to see a growing number of marriages today are ending in divorce!
