Many times in the Old Testament, we read hints about the promised Messiah. Now, amazingly, in our study of the Gospel of Matthew, we see how God took seemingly unrelated prophecies and brought them all together—fulfilling them in the birth of Jesus. Come adore Him with the wise men.

God wants to be with us forever. He came to wash away our sins, and to guide us all the way through life. That way, our hearts will not be troubled because Jesus came to prepare a place for us. And, He will come again to receive us, that where He is, we will be also.

At Christmas, God did for us the greatest miracle of all. The miracle of love, hope and forgiveness. He offered His very best to us, the gift of His Son Jesus. And, whoever believes in Him will not perish, but have everlasting life!

Does Christ occupy center stage in your life? The three roles Jesus plays, as signified by the magi’s gifts, can become a reality in your life now and always. In the message “The Gift of Gold,” Skip continues to consider what this first gift means for us today.

As we begin considering the Advent season—the coming of God’s Son into the world through physical birth—we examine the three gifts given by the magi: gold, frankincense, and myrrh. Join Skip as he begins the message “The Gift of Gold.”

Hebrews 11:6 says "without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him." Today Pastor Jeff continues to teach on the Christmas story found in Matthew chapter 2, and explains that the star the wise men sought after led them to Jesus. Be encouraged this Christmas day to be a wise man or women and to seek after Jesus diligently.
