29 (40-26) And he put also the hanging in the entry of the tabernacle of the testimony,

Exodus 40:29

And he put the altar of burnt offering by the door of the
tabernacle of the tent of the congregation
Of which see ( Exodus 40:6 )

and offered upon it the burnt offering and the meat offering;
either the burnt offering the meat offering of the daily sacrifice, as Jarchi interprets it, see ( Exodus 28:38-42 ) or it may be rather the burnt offering and meat offering of the consecration of Aaron and his sons, ( Exodus 29:1 Exodus 29:2 Exodus 29:18 Exodus 29:23 )

as the Lord commanded Moses;
in the places referred to.

28 (40-25) And burnt upon it the incense of spices, as the Lord had commanded Moses.
29 (40-26) And he put also the hanging in the entry of the tabernacle of the testimony,
30 (40-27) And the altar of holocaust in the entry of the testimony, offering the holocaust, and the sacrifices upon it, as the Lord had commanded.
