9 Poi il confine scendeva al torrente di Kana, a sud del torrente, presso città che appartenevano ad Efraim in mezzo alle città di Manasse; ma il confine di Manasse era dal lato nord del torrente, e facea capo al mare.

Joshua 17:9

And the coast descended unto the river Kanah, southward of the
river
The same mentioned in the account of the coast of Ephraim, ( Joshua 16:8 ) ; which was north of that river, as Manasseh was to the south of it:

these cities of Ephraim [are] among the cities of Manasseh;
that is, the cities before mentioned, Asher, Michmethah, Entappuah, and Tappuah; though they were in the tribe of Manasseh, yet they were inhabited by the Ephraimites:

the coast of Manasseh also [was] on the north side of the river;
of the river Kanah, as well as on the south of it; it had cities there, though possessed by the tribe of Ephraim:

and the outgoings of it were at the sea;
the Mediterranean sea.

7 Il confine di Manasse si estendeva da Ascer a Micmetath ch’è dirimpetto a Sichem, e andava a man destra verso gli abitanti di En-Tappuah.

8 Il paese di Tappuah appartenne a Manasse; ma Tappuah sul confine di Manasse appartenne ai figliuoli di Efraim.

9 Poi il confine scendeva al torrente di Kana, a sud del torrente, presso città che appartenevano ad Efraim in mezzo alle città di Manasse; ma il confine di Manasse era dal lato nord del torrente, e facea capo al mare.

10 Ciò che era a mezzogiorno apparteneva a Efraim; ciò che era a settentrione apparteneva a Manasse, e il mare era il loro confine; a settentrione confinavano con Ascer, e a oriente con Issacar.

11 Di più Manasse ebbe, in quel d’Issacar e in quel d’Ascer, Beth-Scean con i suoi villaggi, Ibleam con i suoi villaggi, gli abitanti di Dor con i suoi villaggi, gli abitanti di En-Dor con i suoi villaggi, gli abitanti di Taanac con i suoi villaggi, gli abitanti di Meghiddo con i suoi villaggi: vale a dire tre regioni elevate.
