25 E i Beniaminiti una seconda volta usciron da Ghibea contro di loro, e stesero morti al suolo altri diciottomila uomini de’ figliuoli d’Israele, tutti atti a trar la spada.

Judges 20:25

And Benjamin went forth against them out of Gibeah the second
day
Flushed with the victory they had obtained the day before:

and destroyed down to the ground of the children of Israel again
eighteen thousand men, all these drew the sword,
were armed men; this, with the 22,000 slain the day preceding, made 40,000; the same number singled out from among them by lot to provide food for them, and is thought by some to be the case Deborah refers to, ( Judges 5:8 ) and is what is certainly intended in ( Hosea 10:9 ) .

23 E i figliuoli d’Israele salirono e piansero davanti all’Eterno fino alla sera; e consultarono l’Eterno, dicendo: "Debbo io seguitare a combattere contro i figliuoli di Beniamino mio fratello?" L’Eterno rispose: "Salite contro di loro".
24 I figliuoli d’Israele vennero a battaglia coi figliuoli di Beniamino una seconda volta.
25 E i Beniaminiti una seconda volta usciron da Ghibea contro di loro, e stesero morti al suolo altri diciottomila uomini de’ figliuoli d’Israele, tutti atti a trar la spada.
26 Allora tutti i figliuoli d’Israele e tutto il popolo salirono a Bethel, e piansero, e rimasero quivi davanti all’Eterno, e digiunarono quel dì fino alla sera, e offrirono olocausti e sacrifizi di azioni di grazie davanti all’Eterno.
27 E i figliuoli d’Israele consultarono l’Eterno l’arca del patto di Dio, in quel tempo, era quivi,
