Marco 1:33 Meaning and Commentary

Mark 1:33

And all the city was gathered together at the door.]
That is, the inhabitants of the city of Capernaum, a very great number of them at least, who having either heard of, or seen the dispossession of the unclean spirit in the synagogue in the daytime; and being willing to see what miraculous cures might be wrought by Christ upon the diseased and possessed that were brought to him, got together in great crowds about the door of the house of Simon and Andrew where Jesus now was.

31 ed egli, accostatosi, la prese per la mano e la fece levare; e la febbre la lasciò ed ella si mise a servirli.
32 Poi, fattosi sera, quando il sole fu tramontato, gli menarono tutti i malati e gl’indemoniati.
33 E tutta la città era raunata all’uscio.
34 Ed egli ne guarì molti che soffrivan di diverse malattie, e cacciò molti demoni; e non permetteva ai demoni di parlare; poiché sapevano chi egli era.
35 Poi, la mattina, essendo ancora molto buio, Gesù, levatosi, uscì e se ne andò in un luogo deserto; e quivi pregava.
