Numbers 29:36 Meaning and Commentary

Ver. 36-38. But ye shall offer a burnt offering
Which was the same that was offered on the first and tenth days of this month, ( Numbers 29:2 Numbers 29:8 ) and the meat and drink offerings for each of the creatures were the same, as often expressed; and on this day a goat for a sin offering was also offered, besides the daily sacrifice, and what went along with that.

35 "On the eighth day you shall have a solemn assembly: you shall do no laborious work,
36 but you shall offer a burnt offering, an offering by fire, a pleasing odor to the LORD: one bull, one ram, seven male lambs a year old without blemish,
37 and the cereal offering and the drink offerings for the bull, for the ram, and for the lambs, by number, according to the ordinance;
38 also one male goat for a sin offering; besides the continual burnt offering and its cereal offering and its drink offering.
