1 Crónicas 6:1-30

1 LOS hijos de Leví: Gersón, Coath, y Merari.

2 Los hijos de Coath: Amram, Ishar, Hebrón y Uzziel.

3 Los hijos de Amram: Aarón, Moisés, y Mariam. Los hijos de Aarón: Nadab, Abiú, Eleazar, é Ithamar.

4 Eleazar engendró á Phinees, y Phinees engendró á Abisua:

5 Y Abisua engendró á Bucci, y Bucci engendró á Uzzi;

6 Y Uzzi engendró á Zeraías, y Zeraías engendró á Meraioth;

7 Y Meraioth engendró á Amarías, y Amarías engendró á Achîtob;

8 Y Achîtob engendró á Sadoc, y Sadoc engendró á Achîmaas;

9 Y Achîmaas engendró á Azarías, y Azarías engendró á Johanán;

10 Y Johanan engendró á Azarías, el que tuvo el sacerdocio en la casa que Salomón edificó en Jerusalem;

11 Y Azarías engendró á Amarías, y Amarías engendró á Achîtob;

12 Y Achîtob engendró á Sadoc, y Sadoc engendró á Sallum;

13 Y Sallum engendró á Hilcías, é Hilcías engendró á Azarías;

14 Y Azarías engendró á Seraíah, y Seraíah, engendró á Josadec.

15 Y Josadec fué cautivo cuando Jehová trasportó á Judá y á Jerusalem, por mano de Nabucodonosor.

16 Los hijos de Leví: Gersón, Coath, y Merari.

17 Y estos son los nombres de los hijos de Gersón: Libni, y Simi.

18 Los hijos de Coath: Amram, Ishar, Hebrón, y Uzziel.

19 Los hijos de Merari: Mahali, y Musi. Estas son las familias de Leví, según sus descendencias.

20 Gersón: Libni su hijo, Joath su hijo, Zimma su hijo.

21 Joab su hijo, Iddo su hijo, Zera su hijo, Jeothrai su hijo.

22 Los hijos de Coath: Aminadab su hijo, Coré su hijo, Asir su hijo,

23 Elcana su hijo, Abiasaph su hijo, Asir su hijo,

24 Thahath su hijo, Uriel su hijo, Uzzia su hijo, y Saúl su hijo.

25 Los hijos de Elcana: Amasai, Achîmoth, y Elcana.

1 Crónicas 6:1-30 Meaning and Commentary

INTRODUCTION TO 1 CHRONICLES 6

This chapter begins with the fathers and heads of the tribe of Levi, 1Ch 6:1-3, and reckons up the high priests in the line of Eleazar, to the Babylonish captivity, 1Ch 6:4-15 gives an account of the families of the sons of Levi, 1Ch 6:16-30 and of those Levites that were employed as singers, and in other ministrations in the sanctuary in the times of David and Solomon, 1Ch 6:31-49, then follows a repetition of the sons of Aaron in the line of Eleazar, to the said times, 1Ch 6:50-53, and a recital of the dwelling places of the Levites in the several tribes, 1Ch 6:54-81.
