Therefore thus says the Lord God of hosts: O my people, who live in Zion, donotbeafraid of the Assyrians when they beat you with a rod and lift up their staff against you as the Egyptians did.

for it is God's servant for your good. But if you do what is wrong, you should beafraid, for the authority does not bear the sword in vain! It is the servant of God to execute wrath on the wrongdoer.

David said to him, "Donotbeafraid, for I will show you kindness for the sake of your father Jonathan; I will restore to you all the land of your grandfather Saul, and you yourself shall eat at my table always."

But as for you, have no fear, my servant Jacob, and donotbe dismayed, O Israel; for I am going to save you from far away, and your offspring from the land of their captivity. Jacob shall return and have quiet and ease, and no one shall make him afraid.

After I looked these things over, I stood up and said to the nobles and the officials and the rest of the people, "Donotbeafraid of them. Remember the Lord, who is great and awesome, and fight for your kin, your sons, your daughters, your wives, and your homes."
