They are waxen fat, they shine: yea, they overpass the deeds of the wicked: they judgenot the cause, the cause of the fatherless, yet they prosper; and the right of the needy do they notjudge.

That be far from thee to do after this manner, to slay the righteous with the wicked: and that the righteous should be as the wicked, that be far from thee: Shall not the Judge of all the earth do right?

Ye shall do no unrighteousness in judgment: thou shalt not respect the person of the poor, nor honour the person of the mighty: but in righteousness shalt thou judge thy neighbour.

O our God, wilt thou notjudge them? for we have no might against this great company that cometh against us; neither know we what to do: but our eyes are upon thee.

I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me.

And the man that will do presumptuously, and will not hearken unto the priest that standeth to minister there before the LORD thy God, or unto the judge, even that man shall die: and thou shalt put away the evil from Israel.
