1 Entonces juntó Salomón los ancianos de Israel, y a todas las cabezas de las tribus, y a los príncipes de las familias de los hijos de Israel, al rey Salomón en Jerusalén para traer el arca del pacto del SEÑOR de la ciudad de David, que es Sion.

1 Kings 8:1

Then Solomon assembled the elders of Israel
The judges in the several cities, or senators of the great sanhedrim, as others; though it is a question whether as yet there was such a court:

and all the heads of the tribes;
the princes of the twelve tribes:

the chief of the fathers of the children of Israel;
the principal men of the ancient families in every tribe:

unto King Solomon in Jerusalem;
these he summoned together to himself there where the temple was built:

that they might bring up the ark of the covenant of the Lord out of the
city of David, which is Zion;
whither David brought it, when he had taken that fort, so called, and dwelt in it; and from this mountain Solomon proposed to bring it up to the temple, on a higher mountain, Moriah, not far from one another.

1 Entonces juntó Salomón los ancianos de Israel, y a todas las cabezas de las tribus, y a los príncipes de las familias de los hijos de Israel, al rey Salomón en Jerusalén para traer el arca del pacto del SEÑOR de la ciudad de David, que es Sion.

2 Y se juntaron al rey Salomón todos los varones de Israel en el mes de Etanim, que es el mes séptimo, en el día solemne.

3 Y vinieron todos los ancianos de Israel, y los sacerdotes tomaron el arca.

4 Y llevaron el arca del SEÑOR, y el tabernáculo del testimonio, y todos los vasos sagrados que estaban en el tabernáculo; los cuales llevaban los sacerdotes y levitas.

5 Y el rey Salomón, y toda la congregación de Israel que a él se había juntado, estaban con él delante del arca, sacrificando ovejas y bueyes, que por la multitud no se podían contar ni numerar.
