15 Y dijo: Bendito sea el SEÑOR Dios de Israel, que habló de su boca a David mi padre, y con su mano lo ha cumplido, diciendo:

1 Kings 8:15

And he said, blessed be the Lord God of Israel
All praise and glory, honour and blessing, be ascribed to the Lord; who had afresh shown himself to be Israel's covenant God, by taking up his residence among them in the temple he had filled with his glory:

which spake with his mouth to David my father, and hath with his hand
fulfilled it;
who graciously promised him he should have a son that should build an house for him, and which he had by his power and providence faithfully performed; or rather which spake concerning David, so Noldius ^F24; for God did not speak with his mouth to David, but to Nathan, of him: saying; as follows.

13 Yo he edificado casa por morada para ti, asiento en que tú habites para siempre.

14 Y volviendo el rey su rostro, bendijo a toda la congregación de Israel; y toda la congregación de Israel estaba en pie.

15 Y dijo: Bendito sea el SEÑOR Dios de Israel, que habló de su boca a David mi padre, y con su mano lo ha cumplido, diciendo:

16 Desde el día que saqué mi pueblo Israel de Egipto, no he escogido ciudad de todas las tribus de Israel para edificar Casa en la cual estuviese mi nombre, aunque escogí a David para que presidiese en mi pueblo Israel.

17 Y David mi padre tuvo en el corazón edificar Casa al nombre del SEÑOR Dios de Israel.
