20 Y el SEÑOR ha hecho firme su palabra que había dicho; que me he levantado yo en lugar de David mi padre, y heme sentado en el trono de Israel, como el SEÑOR había dicho, y he edificado la Casa al nombre del SEÑOR Dios de Israel.

1 Kings 8:20

And the Lord hath performed his word that he spake
To David, concerning his son's building the temple:

and I am risen up in the room of David my father, and sit on the throne
of Israel, as the Lord promised;
succeeded him in the kingdom:

and have built an house for the name of the Lord God of Israel;
the temple he had now finished; and thus the promise to David was punctually fulfilled, that he should have a son that should succeed him in the throne, and build the house of the Lord.

18 Mas el SEÑOR dijo a David mi padre: En cuanto a haber tú tenido en el corazón edificar casa a mi nombre, bien has hecho en tener tal voluntad;

19 pero tú no edificarás la Casa, sino tu hijo que saldrá de tus lomos, él edificará Casa a mi nombre.

20 Y el SEÑOR ha hecho firme su palabra que había dicho; que me he levantado yo en lugar de David mi padre, y heme sentado en el trono de Israel, como el SEÑOR había dicho, y he edificado la Casa al nombre del SEÑOR Dios de Israel.

21 Y he puesto en ella lugar para el arca, en la cual está el pacto del SEÑOR, que él hizo con nuestros padres cuando los sacó de la tierra de Egipto.

22 Y se puso Salomón delante del altar del SEÑOR, en presencia de toda la congregación de Israel, y extendiendo sus manos al cielo,
