Then came the word of the Lord unto Samuel
The word of prophecy, as the Targum; this came to him in a dream or vision, or by an articulate voice:

saying;
as follows.

8 Y tom贸 vivo a Agag rey de Amalec, mas a todo el pueblo mat贸 a filo de espada.
9 Y Sa煤l y el pueblo perdonaron a Agag, y a lo mejor de las ovejas, y al ganado mayor, a los gruesos y a los carneros, y finalmente a todo lo bueno, que no lo quisieron destruir; mas todo lo que era vil y flaco destruyeron.
10 Y vino palabra del SE脩OR a Samuel, diciendo:
11 Me pesa de haber puesto por rey a Sa煤l, porque se ha vuelto de en pos de m铆, y no ha cumplido mis palabras. Y pes贸 a Samuel, y clam贸 al SE脩OR toda aquella noche.
12 Y Samuel madrug贸 para ir a encontrar a Sa煤l por la ma帽ana; y fue dado aviso a Samuel, diciendo: Sa煤l ha venido al Carmel, y he aqu铆 茅l se ha levantado un monumento, y despu茅s volviendo, ha pasado y descendido a Gilgal.
