34 Mas los sacerdotes eran pocos, y no podían bastar a desollar los holocaustos; y así sus hermanos los levitas les ayudaron hasta que acabaron la obra, y hasta que los sacerdotes se santificaron; porque los levitas tuvieron mayor rectitud de corazón para santificarse, que los sacerdotes.

2 Chronicles 29:34

But the priests were too few, so that they could not flay all
the burnt offerings
Take off the skins of them, which used to be done by the priests, ( Leviticus 1:6 ) , wherefore their brethren the Levites did help them till the work was
ended;
assisted in the flaying of the sacrifices, until they had gone through the service of this time, and the skins of all the sacrifices were flayed off: and until the other priests had sanctified themselves;
who had been negligent of it, or had defiled themselves by idolatry: for the Levites were more upright in heart to sanctify themselves than
the priests;
were more ready to do it, and did it with greater cheerfulness and good will; were not backward to do it, but did it at once.

32 Y fue el número de los holocaustos que trajo la congregación, setenta bueyes, cien carneros, doscientos corderos; todo para el holocausto del SEÑOR.

33 Y las ofrendas fueron seiscientos bueyes, y tres mil ovejas.

34 Mas los sacerdotes eran pocos, y no podían bastar a desollar los holocaustos; y así sus hermanos los levitas les ayudaron hasta que acabaron la obra, y hasta que los sacerdotes se santificaron; porque los levitas tuvieron mayor rectitud de corazón para santificarse, que los sacerdotes.

35 Así, pues, hubo gran multitud de holocaustos, con sebos de pacíficos, y libaciones de cada holocausto. Y así fue ordenado el servicio de la Casa del SEÑOR.

36 Y se alegró Ezequías, y todo el pueblo, de que Dios hubiese preparado el pueblo; porque la cosa fue prestamente hecha .
