2 Crónicas 30:6

6 Fueron, pues , correos con letras de la mano del rey y de sus príncipes por todo Israel y Judá, como el rey lo había mandado, y decían: Hijos de Israel, volveos al SEÑOR el Dios de Abraham, de Isaac, y de Israel, y él se volverá a las reliquias que os han quedado de la mano de los reyes de Asiria.

2 Chronicles 30:6

So the posts went with the letters from the king and his
princes throughout all Israel and Judah
Both through the kingdoms of the ten tribes of Israel, and the kingdom of the two tribes of Judah and Benjamin:

and according to the commandment of the king, saying;
so they were ordered by the king to say, when they delivered the letters which by the king's commandment they carried; or this was the purport of them, as follows, especially of those that were sent to the ten tribes:

ye children of Israel, turn again unto the Lord God of Abraham, Isaac,
and Israel;
from whom they had revolted, and from whose worship they had departed, by setting up and serving the calves at Dan and Bethel:

and he will return to the remnant of you that are escaped out of the
hand of the king of Assyria;
Pul and Tiglathpileser, who had both invaded their land, and the latter had taken many of their cities, and carried the inhabitants captive, ( 2 Kings 15:19 2 Kings 15:29 ) .

4 Esto agradó al rey y a toda la multitud.

5 Y determinaron de hacer pasar pregón por todo Israel, desde Beerseba hasta Dan, para que viniesen a hacer la pascua al SEÑOR Dios de Israel en Jerusalén; porque en mucho tiempo no la habían hecho como está escrito.

6 Fueron, pues , correos con letras de la mano del rey y de sus príncipes por todo Israel y Judá, como el rey lo había mandado, y decían: Hijos de Israel, volveos al SEÑOR el Dios de Abraham, de Isaac, y de Israel, y él se volverá a las reliquias que os han quedado de la mano de los reyes de Asiria.

7 No seáis como vuestros padres y como vuestros hermanos, que se rebelaron contra el SEÑOR Dios de sus padres, y él los entregó a desolación, como vosotros veis.

8 Por tanto no endurezcáis vuestra cerviz como vuestros padres; dad la mano al SEÑOR, y venid a su santuario, el cual él ha santificado para siempre; y servid al SEÑOR vuestro Dios, y la ira de su furor se apartará de vosotros.
