2 Chronicles 8:2

That the cities which Huram had restored to Solomon
Which Solomon first gave to him, but he not liking them, returned them to him, ( 1 Kings 9:12 ) ,

Solomon built them;
or rebuilt them, being very much out of repair, which might be one reason of Huram's not accepting them:

and caused the children of Israel to dwell there;
they being inhabited by others, the remains of the Canaanitcs perhaps; see ( 2 Chronicles 8:7 ) .

1 Y aconteció que al cabo de veinte años que Salomón había edificado la Casa del SEÑOR y su casa,

2 reedificó Salomón las ciudades que Hiram le había dado, y estableció en ellas a los hijos de Israel.

3 Después vino Salomón a Hamat de Soba, y la tomó.

4 Y edificó a Tadmor en el desierto, y todas las ciudades de municiones que edificó en el desierto.

5 Asimismo reedificó a Bet-horón la de arriba, y a Bet-horón la de abajo, ciudades fortificadas, de muros, puertas, y barras;
