And the fourth, Adonijah the son of Haggith
The same that usurped the throne before his father's death, to anticipate Solomon, and died by his order, ( 1 Kings 1:5 ) ( 2:25 ) ;

and the fifth, Shephatiah the son of Abital;
of whom we read nowhere else.

2 Y nacieron hijos a David en Hebrón; su primogénito fue Amón, de Ahinoam jezreelita;
3 su segundo Quileab, de Abigail la que era mujer de Nabal, el del Carmelo; el tercero, Absalón, hijo de Maaca, hija de Talmai rey de Gesur;
4 el cuarto, Adonías hijo de Haguit; el quinto, Sefatías hijo de Abital;
5 el sexto, Itream, de Egla mujer de David. Estos nacieron a David en Hebrón.
6 Y como había guerra entre la casa de Saúl y la de David, aconteció que Abner hijo de Ner se esforzaba por la casa de Saúl.
