2 Samuel 6:17

And they brought in the ark of the Lord
Into the city of David, the strong hold of Zion:

and set it in his place, in the midst of the tabernacle that David had
pitched for it:
or "stretched out"; for this was not the tabernacle of Moses, David pitched any where; that was at this time at Gibeon, where it continued to the time of Solomon, ( 1 Chronicles 21:29 ) ( 2 Chronicles 1:3 2 Chronicles 1:4 ) ; but this was a curtain, or curtains, which he had stretched out or drawn around for the ark to be pitched in the midst of; and this was not in his own house, for he is afterwards said to go to that, but somewhere in Jerusalem or the city of David:

and David offered burnt offerings and peace offerings before the Lord;
that is, before the ark, and that by way of thanksgiving for its being brought safe thither, without any error or mistake on the side of him, the Levites, and the people, and without offence to God, and any mark of his displeasure as before. This must be supposed to be done by priests, and not by David himself, who was no priest.

15 Así David y toda la casa de Israel llevaban el arca del SEÑOR con júbilo y sonido de trompeta.

16 Y cuando el arca del SEÑOR llegó a la ciudad de David, aconteció que Mical hija de Saúl estaba mirando desde una ventana, y vio al rey David que saltaba y bailaba con toda su fuerza delante del SEÑOR; y le menospreció en su corazón.

17 Metieron, pues, el arca del SEÑOR, y la pusieron en su lugar en medio de una tienda que David le había tendido; y sacrificó David holocaustos y pacíficos delante del SEÑOR.

18 Y cuando David hubo acabado de ofrecer los holocaustos y pacíficos, bendijo al pueblo en el nombre del SEÑOR de los ejércitos.

19 Y repartió a todo el pueblo, y a toda la multitud de Israel, así a hombres como a mujeres, a cada uno una torta de pan, y un pedazo de carne, y un frasco de vino . Y se fue todo el pueblo, cada uno a su casa.
