15 Y volví y descendí del monte, el cual ardía en fuego, con las tablas del pacto en mis dos manos.

Deuteronomy 9:15

So I turned and came down from the mount
As the Lord commanded:

and the mount burned with fire;
as it had for six weeks past, ever since the Lord's descent upon it; and so it continued, for the words may be rendered, "and the mount was burning" ^F2; and yet this did not deter the Israelites from idolatry:

and the two tables of the covenant were in my two hands:
one table in one hand, and the other in the other hand.

13 Y me habló el SEÑOR, diciendo: He visto ese pueblo, y he aquí, que él es pueblo duro de cerviz.

14 Déjame que los destruya, y raiga su nombre de debajo del cielo; que yo te haré en nación fuerte y mucho más grande que ellos.

15 Y volví y descendí del monte, el cual ardía en fuego, con las tablas del pacto en mis dos manos.

16 Y miré, y he aquí habíais pecado contra el SEÑOR vuestro Dios; os habíais hecho un becerro de fundición, apartándoos presto del camino que el SEÑOR os había mandado.

17 Entonces tomé las dos tablas, y las arrojé de mis dos manos, y las quebré delante de vuestros ojos.
