3 Y dijo el rey: ¿Qué honra y qué grandeza se hizo a Mardoqueo por esto? Y respondieron los servidores del rey, sus oficiales: Nada se ha hecho con él.

Esther 6:3

And the king said, what honour and dignity hath been done to
Mordecai for this?
&c.] He judged it an action worthy of regard, and what ought to be rewarded, as it was the saving of his life; but had forgot whether any royal favour had been shown to the person for it:

then said the king's servants that ministered unto him;
the lords of his bedchamber then in waiting:

there is nothing done for him;
not on that account, nothing more than what he had; he had an office at court before, but was not advanced to anything higher on this account.

1 Aquella noche se le fue el sueño al rey, y dijo que le trajesen el libro de las memorias de las cosas de los tiempos; y las leyeron delante del rey.

2 Y se halló escrito que Mardoqueo había denunciado de Bigtán y de Teres, dos eunucos del rey, de la guarda de la puerta, que habían procurado meter mano en el rey Asuero.

3 Y dijo el rey: ¿Qué honra y qué grandeza se hizo a Mardoqueo por esto? Y respondieron los servidores del rey, sus oficiales: Nada se ha hecho con él.

4 Entonces dijo el rey: ¿Quién está en el patio? Y Amán había venido al patio de afuera de la casa del rey, para decir al rey que hiciese colgar a Mardoqueo en la horca que él le tenía preparada.

5 Y los servidores del rey le respondieron: He aquí Amán está en el patio. Y el rey dijo: Entre.
