29 Y aconteció que a la medianoche el SEÑOR hirió a todo primogénito en la tierra de Egipto, desde el primogénito del Faraón que estaba sentado sobre su trono, hasta el primogénito del cautivo que estaba en la cárcel, y todo primogénito de los animales.

Exodus 12:29

And it came to pass, that at midnight the Lord smote all the
firstborn in the land of Egypt
The midnight of the fifteenth of Nisan, as the Targum of Jonathan, when fast asleep, and thoughtless of any danger; and it being at such a time must strike with a greater horror and terror, when sensible of the blow, which might be attended with a great noise, that might awaken the rest: from the firstborn of Pharaoh that sat on his throne;
the heir to his crown, who was to have sat upon his throne, or already did, being taken a partner with him in it: unto the firstborn of the captive that was in the dungeon;
or prison, that was grinding at the mill there, ( Exodus 11:5 ) which was the work and business the prisoners were often put to, as appears from the case of Samson, ( Judges 16:21 ) , and all the firstborn of cattle;
which were left of the other plagues, which had consumed great numbers of them.

27 Vosotros responderéis: Esta es la víctima de la Pascua del SEÑOR, el cual pasó las casas de los hijos de Israel en Egipto, cuando hirió a los egipcios, y libró nuestras casas. Entonces el pueblo se inclinó y adoró.

28 Y los hijos de Israel se fueron, e hicieron como el SEÑOR había mandado a Moisés y a Aarón, así lo hicieron.

29 Y aconteció que a la medianoche el SEÑOR hirió a todo primogénito en la tierra de Egipto, desde el primogénito del Faraón que estaba sentado sobre su trono, hasta el primogénito del cautivo que estaba en la cárcel, y todo primogénito de los animales.

30 Y se levantó aquella noche el Faraón, él y todos sus siervos, y todos los egipcios; y había un gran clamor en Egipto, porque no había casa donde no hubiese muerto.

31 E hizo llamar a Moisés y a Aarón de noche, y les dijo: Salid de en medio de mi pueblo vosotros, y los hijos de Israel; e id, servid al SEÑOR, como habéis dicho.
