7 También a la media tribu de Manasés había dado Moisés posesión en Basán; mas a la otra media dio Josué heredad entre sus hermanos de este lado del Jordán al occidente; y también a éstos envió Josué a sus tiendas, después de haberlos bendecido.

Joshua 22:7

Now to the [one] half of the tribe of Manasseh Moses had given
[possession] in Bashan
The kingdom of Og, see ( Deuteronomy 3:13 ) ;

but unto the [other] half thereof gave Joshua among their brethren on
this side Jordan westward:
of which an account is given, and the border of their lot described, ( Joshua 17:1-18 ) ;

and when Joshua sent them also unto their tents, then he blessed them;
it seems as if this half tribe was separately dismissed and blessed, they being more nearly related to Joshua, who was of the tribe of Ephraim, and so had a more particular dismission and blessing; and he took his leave of them in a different and affectionate manner. Kimchi makes mention of a Derash, or Exposition of theirs, which says, that after they had taken leave they stayed two days, and returned and took leave a second time, and which he understands of them all, and not of the half tribe only; but it is plainly the half tribe that is only spoken of.

5 Solamente que con diligencia os guardéis haciendo el mandamiento y la ley, que Moisés siervo del SEÑOR os mandó: que améis al SEÑOR vuestro Dios, y andéis en todos sus caminos; que guardéis sus mandamientos, y os alleguéis a él, y le sirváis de todo vuestro corazón y de toda vuestra alma.

6 Y bendiciéndolos Josué, los envió; y se fueron a sus tiendas.

7 También a la media tribu de Manasés había dado Moisés posesión en Basán; mas a la otra media dio Josué heredad entre sus hermanos de este lado del Jordán al occidente; y también a éstos envió Josué a sus tiendas, después de haberlos bendecido.

8 Y les habló, diciendo: Volveos a vuestras tiendas con grandes riquezas, y con gran copia de ganado, con plata, y con oro, y bronce, y hierro, y muchos vestidos; partid con vuestros hermanos el despojo de vuestros enemigos.

9 Y los hijos de Rubén y los hijos de Gad, y la media tribu de Manasés, se tornaron, y partiéronse de los hijos de Israel, de Silo, que está en la tierra de Canaán, para ir a la tierra de Galaad, a la tierra de sus posesiones, de la cual eran poseedores, según palabra del SEÑOR por mano de Moisés.
