Luke 23:52

This man went unto Pilate,
&C.] Mark says, he went "boldly" to him; (See Gill on Mark 15:43).

and begged the body of Jesus;
knowing he was dead; that he might bury it, as the Ethiopic version adds, and prevent its being inferred with the two malefactors, or abused by the mob.

52 Este lleg贸 a Pilato, y pidi贸 el cuerpo de Jes煤s.
53 Y quitado, lo envolvi贸 en una s谩bana, y le puso en un sepulcro que era labrado de piedra, en el cual ninguno hab铆a a煤n sido puesto.
54 Y era d铆a de la preparaci贸n de la Pascua ; y estaba para rayar el s谩bado.
