And they departed from Rameses
A city in Egypt, where the children of Israel, a little before their departure, seem to have been gathered together in a body, in order to march out all together, as they did. This place the Targum of Jonathan calls Pelusium. Dr. Shaw

1 Estas son las partidas de los hijos de Israel, los cuales salieron de la tierra de Egipto por sus escuadrones, por mano de Moisés y Aarón.

2 Y Moisés escribió sus salidas por sus partidas por dicho del SEÑOR. Estas, pues, son sus partidas por sus salidas.

3 De Rameses partieron en el mes primero, a los quince días del mes primero; el segundo día de la pascua salieron los hijos de Israel con mano alta, a ojos de todo Egipto.

4 Estaban enterrando los egipcios a los que el SEÑOR había muerto de ellos, a todo primogénito; habiendo el SEÑOR hecho también juicios en sus dioses.

5 Partieron, pues, los hijos de Israel de Ramesés, y asentaron campamento en Sucot.
