26 Y tomará el sacerdote un puñado del presente, en memoria de ella, y hará perfume de ello sobre el altar, y después dará a beber las aguas a la mujer.

Numbers 5:26

And the priest shall take an handful of the offering, [even]
the memorial thereof
For good or evil, according as her works were, as Aben Ezra observes; a memorial for good, if innocent, and a memorial for evil, if guilty:

and burn [it] upon the altar;
as the handful of other meat offerings used to be, ( Leviticus 1:2 ) ;

and afterwards shall cause the woman to drink the water;
oblige her to it; having proceeded thus far, and no confession made, namely, an oath taken, the curses of it written in a scroll and scraped into the waters, and the jealousy offering waved and offered.

Números 5:26 In-Context

24 y dará a beber a la mujer las aguas amargas que traen maldición; y las aguas que obran maldición entrarán en ella por amargas.

25 Después tomará el sacerdote de la mano de la mujer el presente de los celos, y lo mecerá delante del SEÑOR, y lo ofrecerá delante del altar.

26 Y tomará el sacerdote un puñado del presente, en memoria de ella, y hará perfume de ello sobre el altar, y después dará a beber las aguas a la mujer.

27 Le dará, pues, a beber las aguas; y será, que si fuere inmunda y hubiere hecho traición contra su marido, las aguas que obran maldición entrarán en ella en amargura, y su vientre se hinchará, y caerá su muslo; y la tal mujer será por maldición en medio de su pueblo.

28 Mas si la mujer no fuere inmunda, sino que estuviere limpia, ella será libre, y será fecunda.
