Luke 18:33

And they shall scourge him
As he was by Pilate's order, before he was crucified:

and put him to death;
a shameful, and a painful one, the death of the cross:

and the third day he shall rise again;
as he accordingly did.

32 tradetur enim gentibus et inludetur et flagellabitur et conspuetur

33 et postquam flagellaverint occident eum et die tertia resurget

34 et ipsi nihil horum intellexerunt et erat verbum istud absconditum ab eis et non intellegebant quae dicebantur
