Jeremiah 15:21

And I will deliver thee out of the hand of the wicked
The wicked Jews, Zedekiah and his courtiers, who imprisoned him: and I will redeem thee out of the hand of the terrible;
as kings and great men of the earth seem to be; or, "the violent", or "strong" ^F20, and mighty; that were stronger than he, that would use him with violence, and inject terror into him.

19 Therefore thus saith the LORD, If thou shalt return, then will I bring thee again, [and] thou shalt stand before me: and if thou shalt separate the precious from the vile, thou shalt be as my mouth: let them return to thee; but return not thou to them.

20 And I will make thee to this people a fortified brazen wall: and they shall fight against thee, but they shall not prevail against thee: for I [am] with thee to save thee and to deliver thee, saith the LORD.
