Thou shall not have in thine house divers, measures
Or, "an ephah and an ephah"; which was one sort of measure in use with the Jews, and held above a bushel; and is put for all others, which should be alike, and not

a great and a small;
one to buy with, and another to sell by, as before observed; which would be to cheat both seller and buyer in their turns; see ( Amos 8:5 ) .

12 then you shall cut off her hand, your eye shall have no pity.
13 You shall not have in your bag diverse weights, a great and a small.
14 You shall not have in your house diverse measures, a great and a small.
15 A perfect and just weight shall you have; a perfect and just measure shall you have: that your days may be long in the land which Yahweh your God gives you.
16 For all who do such things, [even] all who do unrighteously, are an abomination to Yahweh your God.
