John 1:14

Listen to John 1:14
14 And the Word came in the flesh, and lived for a time in our midst, so that we saw His glory--the glory as of the Father's only Son, sent from His presence. He was full of grace and truth.

Real Jesus: Humanity, The Divine Expression
Real Jesus: Humanity, The Divine Expression
Dr. Robyn Kassas and Dr. Nathan Kassas

In this week’s episode of First Love, “Real Jesus: Humanity, The Divine Expression,” Dr. Robyn Kassas and Dr. Nathan Kassas flow on from last week’s revelation of Jesus as fully God and fully Man and go a level deeper—into what that means for your everyday humanity. They expose the subtle lie that your “human side” is a curse to be escaped, and prophetically declare that humanity, surrendered to Jesus, is actually God’s chosen conduit for His love, power, and presence.Drawing on passages like John 1:14 and 1 Timothy 2:5, Dr. Robyn and Dr. Nathan unveil Jesus as the man and mediator who stepped into every limitation of human life—emotion, weakness, vulnerability—without sin, so that your humanity could become the meeting place, not the battleground, of heaven and earth. You’ll hear how the enemy has twisted legitimate emotion into sinful conclusions, taught us to hide what we feel from God, and even tried to make us despise the very humanity Satan himself was never trusted to carry. In contrast, Jesus never let Satan use His humanity against Him—and He now stands as the perfect example of what it looks like to feel fully, yet live fully yielded to the Father.This episode calls you out of a faith that only knows Jesus as distant authority and into a relationship that knows Him as touchable, present, and deeply invested in your everyday, very human life. As you allow Jesus to see, touch, and inhabit your humanity—rather than bypass it—you’ll discover that He doesn’t just move in your “spiritual moments”; He becomes real, relevant, and relational in the Monday you, not just the Sunday you.Journey with Dr. Robyn and Dr. Nathan as they invite you to stop giving your humanity to the enemy and start yielding it to the One who wore it for love. In doing so, you won’t just return to your first love—you’ll grow up into a mature love, where Jesus is no longer only Savior at a distance, but the indwelling Lord who expresses His divine life through your very real, very human heart.

John 1:14 In-Context

12 But all who have received Him, to them--that is, to those who trust in His name--He has given the privilege of becoming children of God;
13 who were begotten as such not by human descent, nor through an impulse of their own nature, nor through the will of a human father, but from God.
14 And the Word came in the flesh, and lived for a time in our midst, so that we saw His glory--the glory as of the Father's only Son, sent from His presence. He was full of grace and truth.
15 John gave testimony concerning Him and cried aloud, saying, "This is He of whom I said, `He who is coming after me has been put before me,' for He was before me."
16 For He it is from whose fulness we have all received, and grace upon grace.
