29 And immediately, having come forth out of the synagogue, they went to the house of Simon and Andrew, with James and John,

Mark 1:29

And forthwith, when they were come out of the synagogue,
&c.] Christ having wrought this miracle, and finished his sermon, and the whole synagogue service being over, when it was usual for every one to repair to their own houses, or their friends, for refreshment; he, and they that were with him, departed from it, and directly, being not far from it,

they entered into the house of Simon and Andrew;
who being brethren, dwelt together in a house at Capernaum, where it seems they were now inhabitants, though their native place was Bethsaida, ( John 1:44 ) ,

with James and John;
whom they took along with them, being fellow disciples of Christ.

27 and they were all amazed, so as to reason among themselves, saying, `What is this? what new teaching [is] this? that with authority also the unclean spirits he commandeth, and they obey him!'
28 And the fame of him went forth immediately to all the region, round about, of Galilee.
29 And immediately, having come forth out of the synagogue, they went to the house of Simon and Andrew, with James and John,
30 and the mother-in-law of Simon was lying fevered, and immediately they tell him about her,
31 and having come near, he raised her up, having laid hold of her hand, and the fever left her immediately, and she was ministering to them.
