Isaiah 51:7-11 (New International Version)

View In My Bible
7 "Hear me, you who know what is right,1 you people who have my law in your hearts:2 Do not fear the reproach of men or be terrified by their insults.3 8 For the moth will eat them up like a garment;4 the worm5 will devour them like wool. But my righteousness will last forever,6 my salvation through all generations." 9 Awake, awake!7 Clothe yourself with strength,8 O arm9 of the LORD; awake, as in days gone by, as in generations of old.10 Was it not you who cut Rahab11 to pieces, who pierced that monster12 through? 10 Was it not you who dried up the sea,13 the waters of the great deep,14 who made a road in the depths of the sea15 so that the redeemed16 might cross over? 11 The ransomed17 of the LORD will return. They will enter Zion with singing;18 everlasting joy will crown their heads. Gladness and joy19 will overtake them, and sorrow and sighing will flee away.20
