All his days the wicked man suffers torment,1 the ruthless through all the years stored up for him.221
Terrifying sounds fill his ears;3 when all seems well, marauders attack him.422
He despairs of escaping the darkness;5 he is marked for the sword.623
He wanders about7--food for vulturesa;8 he knows the day of darkness9 is at hand.1024
Distress and anguish11 fill him with terror;12 they overwhelm him, like a king13 poised to attack,
