I have not written (ouk egrapsa). Not epistolary aorist ( Acts 2:14 ), but a reference to what he has just said. And because no lie is of the truth (kai oti pan pseudo ek th alhqeia ouk estin). Not certain whether oti here is causal (because) or declarative (that). Either makes sense. Note the idiomatic use of ek and pan--ouk=ouden (no) as in verse Acts 19 .
