Shall say (eiph). Second aorist subjunctive, with ean, condition of the third class, undetermined, but with prospect of being determined. Delayeth (cronizei). From crono, time, spends time, lingers. Shall begin (arxhtai). First aorist middle subjunctive with ean and the same condition as eiph, above. The menservants (tou paida) and the maidservants (kai ta paidiska). Paidiskh is a diminutive of pai for a young female slave and occurs in the papyri, orginally just a damsel. Here pai can mean slave also though strictly just a boy.
