1	The angel of the church of Sardis is reproved;
3	exhorted to repent, and threatened if he do not repent.
8	The angel of the church of Philadelphia,
10	is approved for his diligence and patience;
15	the angel of Laodicea rebuked for being neither hot nor cold,
19	and admonished to be more zealous.
20	Christ stands at the door and knocks.

Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.
